ID&C launches the Dozoid (RFID) access control pod and the smartlock at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC)
ID&C recently exhibited at the ILMC and received huge interest in two new products - which further consolidates their position as the most innovative wristband & access control supplier in South Africa.
Dozoid:
The Dozoid access control pod which ID&C unveiled for the first time, uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The Dozoid illustrates the validity of a key fob, wristband watch or card using light emitting diodes (LEDs) and audible alarms. It is a slender pillar with scanners on the top unit that can be deployed as part of an existing infrastructure or in a green field.
The main advantages of the Dozoid are:
- protection against pass back or re-use
- speed through the gate
- real time head count statistics available
- RFID inlays and tag can hold personal details of each person
- Post event data reports available
ID&C has a reputation for developing new and innovative self locking systems for security wristbands.
Our latest version is the smartlock and ID&C demonstrated it's latest prototype at the ILMC.
The Smartlock comes with two types of Fabrikband - a satin full colour finish or a 6 spot colour woven finish. ID&C has listened to the feedback from festivals and event organisers and it has developed features within the smartlock to combat tampering. If a wristband user attempts to tamper with or remove the smartlock there are features that will provide evidence of this, thus enabling oragnisers to police there access control more effeciently.
